VULTURE.
-------

We send herewith Evs.108, shewing the contour of the bonnet radiator and dash for Vulture. The radiator top tank has been taken from N.R. Scheme 279.

Strangely enough, just before the receipt of F.85730, shewing the relative slopes of the bonnet hinges on P.E. 25 HP. Vulture, as shewn on LeD.3639, we had arrived at the conclusion that the slope of the top hinge on this last-mentioned drawing for Vulture was inadequate. On Evs.108 the slope of the top hinge is, approximately, that of P.2. This drawing will enable Derby to set out the contour of the dashboard, which the Experimental Department are urgently requesting. The bonnet louvres shewn can be made with the Standard Phantom Die.

This drawing also shews the position in which one requires the spare wheels to be placed, and, as previously pointed out, the forward tube of the wheel carrier somewhat quarrels with the engine foot attachment to the chassis frame.

It will also be seen on this drawing how the steering pendulum lever boss and nut only slightly protrudes through the bonnet panel and we suggest that it might be possible, by a slight modification in the design, to keep this completely inside.

Will you please give a print of this drawing to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and E, and sent to us two prints.
