X114 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.8/JH. 6th August, 1936. Messrs. Clayton Deandre Ltd., Titanic Works, Lincoln. For the attention of Mr. Willet. Dear Sirs, We are still anxious to receive the oil cooler tests results, which you have been promising us for some months, particularly as we wish to decide the respective merits of your own type of block, Messrs. Callays and our own tube type. There is no prospect yet of us receiving details of the new type of cooler which we mentioned in our last letter, so no useful purpose will be served by delaying tests for the sake of including it. We hope that we may receive information at an early date. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
