Handwritten middle: noted BR By: Please note & return Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. Dear Sirs, With reference to the writer's visit to your Works on the 8th instant in connection with the Phantom III Oil Coolers E.87820, we shall make all these with our standard solder until you have completed a full test of the high temperature solder. We much regret that the seatings on these coolers are not yet entirely satisfactory. We have put in hand jigs for a new method of facing these surfaces as discussed with Mr. Steadman. We may have a short delay before these jigs will be ready for use so we are sending a few coolers which are already completed in case your stock of these should get low. Yours faithfully, for JOHN MARSTON LIMITED. [Signature] John Coltman | ||
