(10) Spare wheel carrier and luggage grid.

It would appear that the majority of cars will have one wheel at the back and luggage grid, and one wheel at the side. We consider the present scheme of luggage grid and wheel at the rear should be simplified.

(11) Radiator filter.

As regards the trouble we are having with radiators being stopped up, we are not certain yet that the modifications which have been made and are contemplated, will completely overcome this trouble.

We suggest therefore, it would be better to have a filter which could be cleaned instead of allowing the radiator matrix to act as a filter.

(12) Central lubrication.

We consider that we should still be endeavouring to lubricate the whole car from the central tank. We have no reason to believe that there is any very great difficulty in doing this. We ran 10,000 miles on 12-EX with such a scheme. Numerous American cars including R.R. Springfield, are using this without any trouble.

(13) Modified shape of radiator and filter.

This modification will entail considerable body modifications. We should like Ds/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} to say whether it is possible to alter one of our existing bodies or whether it will be necessary to have a new body built to suit this modification. As regards 18-EX car, we shall fit automatic shutters to the existing type of radiator.
