76553 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from K.{Mr Kilner} K.2/HP.6.3.33. c. For. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}-By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} re Bensport Car. Confirming your memo Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}21/K/3.3.33, it is agreed that we shall arrange to mount a spare coil in a convenient place underneath the bonnet so that it can be substituted for the coil in use, when desired. This is the original scheme arranged by K.{Mr Kilner} on Japan III for single battery ignition. With regard to the other point, namely, the petrol tank, it is arranged that we use the upper part of the larger tank schemed by EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} which has all the features desired regarding the filler, and to suit which the next Bensport bodies to be fitted are arranged and that we shall cut off the lower part to give the required capacity of 18 gallons, 2 gallons of which will constitute the reserve portion.
