2 7/9 Re Ferodo Lining to Footbrake. Mr Royce 11-12-12 TBB11/L111212 I am sending you today under separate cover the piece of Ferodo lining from the footbrake of chassis 2100E, together with a piece of unused Ferodo for comparison. The lining sent has run 1377 miles on the road, including the use of the footbrake in conjunction with the side brakes in running up the Cat & Fiddle twice, keeping the car speed at 25 m.p.h. under full throttle. For further details I refer you to my report on chassis 2100E. You will notice that the material holds together very well even after a considerable amount of wear, and appears to be in excellent condition, but at the same time this comparatively rapid wear seems to be | ||
