INSTRUCTIONS. 19 To Order No. III Customer's No. generated, all goes into the drum, due to the insulating nature of Ferodo, the brake drums are blue nearly to the flange on the shaft. I understand from Mr Bailey that the Ferodo people are now making a new material which is compressed more with the idea of preventing it swearing so rapidly. The silence & smoothness in these brakes is a great advantage over the cast iron & I consider we should try some of the new material with a drum which will not go out of truth.
