Dear Sirs,
Your ref: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}2/R.{Sir Henry Royce}
Experimental Department.
We have been advised by Messrs. Chrysler Motors that you are interested in a Speedometer to suit a Warner gearbox.
Our friends, Messrs. Chrysler Motors, transferred your enquiry to us because we have supplied many thousands of Cooper-Stewart Speedometers for the Warner gearbox.
Will you please let us know what is the gear ratio and tyre size of the car to which the gearbox will be fitted. Also length of flexible shaft required.
On receipt of your reply we can probably supply a Speedometer from stock without further delay.
Yours faithfully,
PER PRO.
