Stewart House,

LONDON, W.C.2.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter reference WAT/W/21 concerning a speedometer for the Warner gearbox which we have.

This gearbox will be used in conjunction with an axle ratio giving 3120 prop. shaft revs per mile. In the gearbox there is a 6 tooth gear to Warner's drawing R.6/169 and we require the worm that mates with this, which we believe, is sold as a complete unit which can be fitted straight to the gearbox. We should require a cable 100" long to the speedometer.

Will you, therefore, please let us know whether you can supply a speedometer cable and drive unit, and if so, at what price.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
