NO.5 TEST HOUSE.

B.60 No.3.
Investigation of crankshaft and camshaft torsional oscillations.
When complete revert and continue cylinder head comparisons as previously programmed.

B.80 No.2.
As per previous programme until chain drive unit is ready.

NO.2 TEST HOUSE.

B.II NO.4 UNIT.
Unit now fitted with new cylinder block standard and split skirt Aerolite produced pistons. Pistons fitted with Hepworth & Grandage High Point rings.
After running in take power curve and record "Blow by" at each speed.
Run 2 hour. oil consumption on Motorine C at an oil inlet temperature of 100°C at 4000 r.p.m. also checking "blow by". Repeat runs until a constant figure is obtained, after which take power curve and register "blow by".
