Dear Sir,

P. V.{VIENNA} C. Halliwell Deceased.

I thank you for your letter of the 25th inst. enclosing two Money Orders value together £60-7-5, balance of wages and expenses due to the Deceased at the time of his death and as requested I herewith send you formal receipt on the form enclosed with your letter.

I have tonight written Mrs. Halliwell informing her that I have received this amount and also of the fact that you have lodged in Court the sum of £494-14-0 being the amount payable as compensation to the dependants. I am suggesting to Mrs. Halliwell that she should come up to Derby with her Brother, Mr. Worcester, as soon as she can make it convenient to do so.

Yours faithfully,

Allan V Nutt
