The Ransome & Marles Bearing Co.Ltd.,
Newark-on-Trent.
For the attention of Mr. Hickling.
Dear Sirs,
We thank you for your letter of the 1st September, and also for sending the last three bearings which you have been running on the test rig.
We note that you wish to complete the run on the new Wakefield oil before starting tests on a stronger cage. We are quite in agreement with this, and hope you will send us one of the new bearings to run in a car as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
