| Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} +251 ROY{Sir Henry Royce}/MS14/P.24.5.35. FLEXIBLE PETROL PIPE - USED ON 20/25-HP AND BENTLEY CHASSIS. With reference to the Flexible Pipes we have standardised for Bentley Chassis, made by the Gabriel Manufacturing Co., of Edgware, we understand the material used in the production is imported from the States. We are sending herewith a sample of tube made by the Power Flexible Tubing Co., of London, which is made on similar lines, and is of British manufacture throughout - the price being comparable with that we are paying to the Gabriel Co. We understand the Gabriel Co's pipe is made from sheet strip, and the British manufactured pipe from corrugated tube, therefore free from seams. Perhaps you will test out the accompanying sample, which is suitable for our 20/25-HP Chassis Drawing No. F.60595. RoyGL | ||
