Contd. -2- PN {Mr Northey} 11/DB {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 14.1.20. is not a very serious consideration - the present one weighing 36 lbs and cutting in at 720 R.P.M. Mrl Clark states that he considers we ought to have something ready to cut in at the lower speed in case we receive complaints from customers that they cannot keep their Patteries charged in town running. But, I can assure you need not wait for this - the matter is not open to doubt, the Patteries cannot be maintained fully charged under present circumstances in twon running. I can see no reason to agree with Mr. Clark that the general silence of the Dynamos now id so good that you would not notice anything detrimental without looking for it. We have the greatest difficutly in finding a chassis which comes through in the ordinary way in which the Dynamo is satisfactory in this respect. PN. {Mr Northey} Enclosure.
