Referring to our drawing LeC. 2802., R.{Sir Henry Royce} is not in agreement with this scheme as yet. He would prefer to retain the breather pipe where we have it now, and suggests that experiments should be made to determine the exact cause of the trouble, such as running the engine with breather pipe detached to observe if oil is discharged under atmospheric conditions.
As regards the loss of power we are sending through a modification cancelling the intermediate tube in the silencer.
