With reference to 2704, I like the wind screen on this; although it makes a noise through want of perfection, it has a good many features.
The special celluloid glass is not nice to look through.
With reference to the luggage carrier on this car, it was very badly and stupidly fitted.
It has broken the bolts and damaged the tank, although it only carried a very small load.
Please see that 5BNA is differently arranged.
The base for luggage grid should be formed of sheet steel pressing forming a detachable continuation of the frame side members, the shock absorbers might be carried by these or placed somewhere else.
No attempt should be made to carry any load from the cross member unless it was only just pivoted with straps or other flexible or folding straps from the body.
2704 was a cantilever from the cross member without other means of support.
