TELEGRAMS CARVAUX, TELEX, LUTON WHEN REPLYING PLEASE QUOTE -> OUR REF: AT/SEE YOUR REF: 25th. April 1938 W.A.Robotham Esq., Messrs Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. Dear Robotham, I am indeed sorry not to have answered sooner. I still like your head - I mean your cylinder head - P.D.140. I am sending the print back with minor suggestions that probably don't mean much. It would be nice to be able to use more of the intake valve head for cooling and it would be slightly advantageous to cut into the volume a little sooner. You will be interested to know we are about to start on a project for a 25 h.p. job for the future. If interested I will be glad to check in with you during the "inflammatory" period. With regard to the cam for the auto tappet, me thinks that friend AC may later be induced to produce. Best regards. Yours sincerely, ALEX TAUB. | ||
