X.4075. X.4403. GOSHAWK II - TECHNICAL WIRING DIAGRAM. We send you herewith drawing No. LeC.1530 shewing the above. This diagram, and the practical wiring diagram are to be incorporated in the instruction book for Goshawk II. There are 2 ideas regarding the manner in which this should be done, and they depend upon the clearness with which these diagrams can be produced in colours to a small scale, as it is essential that they shall be easily read. The first idea is that each diagram shall occupy one page of the book and that they shall be printed on adjacent pages so that the operator can look at both diagrams side by side and compare one with the other without any trouble. Should however the scale be too small for obtaining good productions or should it be too small for the printing, etc. to be easily discernible, then each diagram should occupy a double page, each double page being fixed in the book by one edge only and in such a manner that they can be folded out flat, and the diagrams be compared side by side as before. Folded leaves in a book are rather a noisance as they become torn and lost, but in this case we are proposing to have only one page folding out on each side, (see sketch). Contd. | ||
