Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}...from PN.{Mr Northey} X5840 PM.8/GD18.6.29. I have arranged to cross from Folkestone to Boulogne on Saturday morning next, reaching Boulogne at 12-20. I understand that you will have meanwhile made arrangements for Hyman to take charge of 21-KX from Sales on Friday, and place this car on the cargo boat leaving Folkestone at 10.a.m. on Saturday. He will look out for me on my arrival, leaving the car as far as possible in a position out of observation. I propose to drive straight to Paris, and on Sunday morning I shall drive to Chateauroux, so that I shall be able to take on a test run of the 20/h.p. experimental car which is now going through it's 10,000 miles test. I shall cable to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} my confirmatory opinion of this car the same evening. Will you be good enough to let Hancock know that I am proposing to carry out this test in this way, and at the time stated. PN.{Mr Northey} P.N | ||
