X.206.-REPORT ON CHASSIS 2301.

C.A.V. Dynamo . Thecar is fitted with a C.A.V. Dynamo
Mr. Stewart Burt in his report on chassis 1945 Loeffler
says that car is fitted with C.A.V. dynamo, Bleriot head
lamps with 50 c.p. bulbs. The driver has only burnt out
two lamp holders in two months and has not had other troubles
at all. The light is said to be tremendous, far greater
than that thrown from Sir John Smiley's largest Rushmores
and D.A. set, while the non-dazzle venetian blind type lens
is said to fulfil its purpose excellently.

Mr. Johnson wishes us to try this combination and
report to him. We have since ascertained that the lamp No.
is 401E and the bulbs 20 v.{VIENNA} 50 c.p., which Bleriot have made
to their special design.

The dynamo on chassis 2301 is fitted with 5/8" belt.
