SPRINGING 58-GN. (Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s. Car). 87410.

The above car was fitted with the following springs in the Expl. Dept., in January 1931. :-

Front Springs. F.78797.
N.S. O.S.
Loaded Lbs. 1108. 1120.
Loaded Camber. Flat. Flat.
Initial Camber. 4.5" 4.5"

Rear Springs. F.79449.
N.S. O.S.
Loaded lbs. 1346. 1368.
Loaded Camber. Flat. Flat.
Initial Camber. 10.25" 10.25"

The hydraulic damper loads were as follows:-

Front. H.P. 100 lbs. L.P. 95 lbs. High pressure valve drilled .032" dia. leak.
Rear. H.P. 60 lbs. L.P. 60 lbs. No drilled valves.

The buffer clearances with four passengers (No luggage) were-

Front. N.S. 1.8" O.S. 1.7"
Rear. 3.75" 3.75"

Car weight complete with all spares, petrol etc., :-

Front. 22 cwt. 1 qr. 21 lbs.
Rear. 28 cwt. 2 qr. 7 lbs.
Total. 51 cwt. - qr. 7 lbs.
