To Mr. [REDACTED] from B.J. Copies to [REDACTED] -> Mr. [REDACTED] X4257 RJ14/Hx1.6.Cw. BRAKE LEVERS ON 20 H.P. CARS. X4257 You will remember that we had complaints of rattles of brake levers which we understood were of the latest type, namely, on No. 46-J-9 and on Mr. Brother's car No. 49-0-0. I therefore enquired at the Works Conference yesterday whether the brake levers that were now being fitted to 20 h.p. cars as standard, those which were being fitted to replace the original brake levers (which rattled) might be depended on to be silent. I was glad that the Works were able to assure me that they were confident that rattles will not occur on this latest type brake lever. B.J. | ||
