Two further types are now being forwarded to you herewith, namely, Lodge X.496 and Lodge X.506, both of which are considered suitable in the matter of heat and oil factors for certain of your engines. The former have (has) the standard A.2/2 plug with an integral screen and the letter (latter) the A.14/1 similarly screened.

Would you please advise us as early as possible as to the suitability of these plugs to your engine, and, if necessary, in what direction they should be modified.
