E.1605, U.657, E.7173, E.7174, E.5808 - Plugs for Oil Water and Petrol Cocks.

Material to be altered to D.P.H. as works find H.D.B. and D.M. are too soft.

Exhaust Fittings. E.2922. Rear Silencer Shell.

Note to be added re welding E.2240 Bend to silencer shell, to agree with works pre-war and present practice. The welding is round the outer edge of the saddle flange.

Oil Pump. E.3666 - Oil Pump Casing.

It is proposed to move the suction and delivery branches out .125 to carry the screwing clear of the deepened bosses under the oval suspension flange. Both oil pipes can be readily altered to accomodate this change.

Extra Cylinder Lub: U.1806 - Valve Case.

Size of drilled holes altered from .241 to .267 to agree with holes in Dash Plate U.1816, and present drilling jig. Pre-war D.O. error.

Radiator. Mascot Fittings.

H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Scheme.158 received 1.12.19. calls for .375 Brass Lock Nut for which we have instructed E.4317.

Supersheet for this scheme received 8.12.19. calls for P.M. Lock Nut K.4316. Which instruction is correct?

Spring Drive. E.2697 - Crankshaft Pinion Bush.

Reduce limit on thickness of flange from -5 to -2. to prevent excessive end play as mentioned in Mr Platford's memo - EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}2/F1.12.19. para. 4.
Dia. of bore E.201++ gives a positive total clearance of .001 with a maximum of .0025. With the "Eagle" spring drive we have a .003 to .004 clearance.
Should we increase this clearance on E.2697 to prevent binding when the hub is being forced on crankshaft taper. Mr Platford's memo Para 3.
