Dear Sirs, We have your letter of yesterday's date enclosing copy of the letter to yourselves from the Graham Paige Factory, offering to supply a Supercharger assembly free of charge. We note you require this urgently and have to-day instructed Messrs. Eustace Watkins Ltd., who handle Service matters on our behalf, to despatch to you, passenger train, the Supercharger assembly we have in stock. We will arrange with the Graham Paige Antwerp Depot to send us [strikethrough]free of charge[/strikethrough] replacement and will debit you later with the Duty payable. When last writing it did not occur to us that you required this Supercharger for other than experimental purposes, as we ourselves have had no occasion to replace an assembly on any of the twenty cars we have delivered. We have experienced very little trouble with pre-ignition except when using ordinary petrol; but the car delivered to yourselves was one of the first we received and possibly the valve or ignition setting has been amended. In case it may be of use to you we enclose letter received from the Factory in response to our request for any special information available as to tuning engines for speed.
