c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Ba. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} 1021 CONFIDENTIAL. 26th.November 1938. BY.12/N. Messrs.Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, London N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re: Experimental Prints & Queries. We thank you for your letter reference CWW/MP. of the 25th.inst, and you will find that the prints and particulars required were sent under cover of our letter ref: BY.35/N.25.11.38, with the exception of F.CD.916 - Diagonal Stays, which we send herewith. We have investigated PD.202 and F.CD.913, and find the only difference between them is that the bonnet valance strip in the plan is moved outwards slightly to suit the bonnet fixings. We are preparing a new drawing of the combined body bracket and step iron rear, and will make it 5.750" outwards from the frame channel. In your letter ref: CWW/MP. B.298 you refer to print F.CD.532 - dashboard, and as this dashboard is used on 3.B.5. (9.B.5.) and 2.B.50, we suggest you retain it for a time. The centre board to F.CD.596 mentioned in letter CWW/MP. S/O.B.297, we believe you have all the information and parts you require, the wooden boards of course will be supplied by yourselves. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS. | ||
