RECEIVED 14 MAY 1920 For the attention of Mr. E.W. HIVES. Dear Sirs, With further reference to your letter of April 29th, we are bearing in mind your desire for a sparking plug with a pot insulator, and we hope to send you some samples at an early date, but in the meantime we are today forwarding you six of our Model PF3 plugs for testing, and we should recommend the use of these plugs in cases where you have trouble with sooting up. These Model PF3 plugs are detachable for cleaning and are made with a projecting mica sleeve at the sparking end of the plug, which enables the plug to withstand a considerable amount of sooting up without misfiring. We shall be glad to hear if you are interested in this pattern, and beg to remain, Yours faithfully, LODGE PLUGS LIMITED. [Signature] DIRECTOR. 6 Model PF3 plugs sent under separate cover. | ||
