I attach a copy of a letter from Springfield, dated August 15th, (Oy4/W515..). The enclosures accompany the memo. to Mr. Royce. The standardisation sheet sent by Springfield stated that they propose to put this alteration into regular manufacture on January 5th, 1924, unless they hear to the contrary before that date. B.J.
