N/W. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. c - By/Mtn. Br/G36/G.7-11-35. (Handwritten: 86117) re.Technical - 25-HP. H.T.Wires. Thank you for your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.6/MA.6-11-35, from which we are pleased to hear that you are arranging to standardise the RR.271 specification cable on the 25-HP Chassis. With regard to By/Mtn16/N.5-11-35, we are arranging to pass on two further samples of perished wires, one from GAE-22, and the other from 64-FH. The former was replaced at 4,200 miles and the second after 300 miles. 64-FH was re-wired at Derby three weeks back. At the moment, we have approximately 4,000' of this cable in Stock, which represents about two months' stock. Do you consider we should keep it ? We shall, of course, use it up on the early cars alright, but we should like your views about re-wiring on the cars with the metal carrier Tubes. Br/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} | ||
