With reference to your By.18/N.31.10.35., with attached copy of memo Br/G.45/G.22.10.35., we have now issued a standardisation sheet for H.T. ignition cables to R.R.Specification No.271 which is now standard on Bentley & Phantom III. This cable has a higher resistance to ozone effects where passing through metal tubes. This means that all our cables at the moment will be supplied by the British Insulated & Helsby Cables, Ltd., in place of Maconite, and we understand that these two companies are now combined so that the cables in any case in the future will be supplied by Messrs.B.I.Cables.
