-2- We suggest that all these parts should be checked over and corrected, when the trouble you complain of (if it is petrol supply trouble) should disappear. With regard to (5) - We will arrange to have sent to you a new Autovac unit. This which is a fully tested up to date unit incorporates several improvements, which are not present on the instrument on your car, and all of which increase the efficiency of the system. It will therefore entirely remove any doubts as to the efficiency of the Autovac itself. We shall be glad if you will return your own Autovac unit to us for examination. We may say that we have never headr of a failure of any of our cars, the cause of which has been traced to the fundamental inability of the Autovac to supply sufficient petrol at high altitudes. We shall be interested to hear if you find any defects in the petrol system. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
