S to W. for E.P. [struck through] C. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [struck through] G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} to H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} [struck through] XC4118/ CWB9/CP28.11.27. re. 20 H.P. Chassis N. GRJ-29. We have received some criticisms of the above car from Lieut. Colonel Paddon. Two points which he mentions are :- 1. "Oil Pump. There is invariably an air lock after emptying and refilling the sump." Is this a fact? If so, is there some simple means of removing the air lock. If so, the matter should be referred to the necessary Department so that the liability may be eliminated. 2. "Tappets and Platinum Points require constant Adjustment." Is this a fact? If so, what are the reasons for these and is it not possible to eliminate them. [Handwritten Signature] CWB. | ||
