X462 Experimental Dept. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/KT. July 20th, 1933. Earl of Rothes, 39, Elm Park Gardens, London, S.W.10. Dear Rothes, Thank you for your letter of July 19th. The Bentley left for France on Tuesday last the 18th. inst. It will be available for you to go down and see it at Chateauroux any time after the 1st August, for probably three weeks or a month. So far, we are very satisfied with the new type India tyres, and our preliminary riding tests show that they are no more uncomfortable than the Dunlop. This reverses our original opinion. Presumably, therefore, you will be talking prices on Monday. I shall be very glad to fix you up on Monday evening, and shall expect you unless I hear to the contrary. Yours sincerely, | ||
