Mrs. Burgess,
Llanfoist,
Clifton Down,
BRISTOL.

Dear Mrs. Burgess,

Since Whitsuntide I have been considering from time to time how the riding qualities can be improved on your particular car.

From some tests which we have recently made we have arrived at a compromise for springing which I consider to be far more suitable for your requirements.

We should like you to benefit from these alterations, so suggest that you should send your car to Derby as soon as you can let us have it for two clear days.

We also suggest that you should have the rear seat cushion lined with Dunlop sorbo rubber as this has more damping than the normal spring cushion.

Perhaps you will be able to give me 24 hours notice before your car arrives at Derby, so that I can be ready to take a personal interest in it.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
