Dear Sir,

20 H.P. RUBBER ENGINE MOUNTING BLOCKS.

I have your letter of the 15th inst. and note your requirements in the matter of free length and rating for the two grades of blocks which you wish to test.

We will do all that we can to expedite the delivery of these samples and hope to be able to supply you early next week. It occurs to us that the best course to adopt is to grind down the blocks to a length of 1.220" approximately, so that you can finish them to the exact length which you require.

The reduced deflection would certainly be important in minimising permanent set, and we do not anticipate that you will have much difficulty in this respect.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD.,
