GAE-20.

We are going to dispose of 20-G-IV, and possibly another of our old 20/25 HP. cars.

We want to bring GAE-20 up to 22-G-V specification, for tests at Derby. We agree that this car is out of date but we do not mind the frame having to be drilled because it will not be used for 15,000 miles tests. We must, however, have a car for experiments at Derby and this is the quickest way of getting one, since it takes about 8 weeks to get a new body and mounting.

The attached list which we have got from Castle shows the modifications required, to which we have to add :-

(1) Marles type steering.
(2) Low rating front springs as on 22-G-V.{VIENNA}
(3) Hypoid rear axle.
(4) Complete new large bore engine unit as C-16.
