re PHANTOM III OIL COOLERS.

Replying to your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.1/MH.{M. Huckerby}

8.4.38.:-

1. 190 F.{Mr Friese} type oil coolers have already been fitted to A.{Mr Adams} & B. series cars.

2. We have 20 F.{Mr Friese} type coolers in stock at Derby.

3. The average rate at which F.{Mr Friese} type coolers have been fitted during the last three months has been 12 per week.

4. During the last two months we have received 91 F.{Mr Friese} type coolers from Marstons for change-over purposes. These, of course, do not include those required for Production or any which have been rejected due to leaks.

5. A good many of these cars are inaccessibly situated and a lot of difficulty is often experienced in making appointments to get the cars attended to. Allowing for this, it is doubtful whether it will be possible to deal with more than 25 to 30 cars per week.
