Phantom III Oil Cooler Changeovers.

With reference to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.1/MH.{M. Huckerby}8.4.38, we would state Messrs. Marston delivered 149 modified 'F' type Coolers during the months of February and March last, i.e. roughly 18 per week.

Supplies have certainly not been up to our requirements, partly owing to the fact that the re-machining operation necessary on the Oil Cooler faces could not be controlled strictly to our gauge size. This matter has, however, been cleared with you, and we confirm that Marston's have a quantity of approximately 125 Coolers at their Works, in various stages, the majority awaiting the re-machining operation.

We received yesterday 21 Coolers, and Marston's will be sending a further quantity to make up the 50 before the end of this week, and after which Marston's will continue at the rate of 50 per week.

We are leaving you to correlate with Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} on this matter.
