Noisy Tappets. | W. 38. N. 65. P. 9. 112. | 97. | The grooved bushes for improved lubrication scheme is satisfactory and cures complaints, and is standard on present Production.
Servo Jaggers. | W. 15. N. 14. P. 2. 31. | 16. | On early Phantoms a rubber block is fitted to provide a damping device on the servo shaft. On later cars and present Production a flat spring plate is standardised. Also an adaption of the present standard friction device on the swinging arm is being sent round for approval. Standardisation sheet issued.
Sticking Throttles. | W. 25. N. 9. P. 7. 41. | 42. | The new design roller bearing throttle overcomes the trouble. The numbers given are not complaints but include all cars which have had the roller bearing throttle fitted.
Exhaust Butterfly Choke Squeaking. | W. 22. N. 21. P. 3. 46. | 38. | New design standardised but we have not had sufficient experience to report on its behaviour in customers' hands.
