X4384 To. HP. C. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} Cr {Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester} Het C. Sftv for Mr Brock. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Ds2/ML 22.8.23. RE FAILURE OF 20 H.P. STARTER MOTOR. In reply to your memo - EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 2/H 7.8.23., we would say that we have investigated the trouble and we think that the case in point where the screw has wriggled out and caused a short, is rather an exception, and we do not think that any action should be taken in this matter at the moment, but would add that we will put in hand some special screws, so that should we get another complaint of this nature we can straight away send these larger screws to be fitted. We return herewith to Mr Brock the two faulty brushes which should be replaced to Test Dept. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Ds. | ||
