In accordance with your request to see all faulty electrical units removed from 20-HP chassis, we are today sending to your office, starter motor No. 390 complete with drive, which has today been returned by Mr. Evans, Lillie Hall, from the above car. Mr. Evans reports that the driver of the above car complained that his starter motor was not working. Upon dismantling this unit the trouble was found to be due to one of the washers having broken inside the starter motor mechanism. Will you please have this unit inspected, repaired and reported on. We shall be pleased to receive your recommendations as to who should be charged for the replacement supplied to the customer. As has been issued for the repair. Order Number 51014 Incidentally, we have not yet supplied a replacement to Mr. Evans for the one he has fitted to the customer's car in place of the above.
