| HOTEL DE FRANCE. CHATEAUROUX. Indre. France. X300u GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/S/JAB. 13th November 1935. To. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From. G.W.H. 31. EX. - PHANTOM III. Your telegram re Phantom main bearings was not too clear so we waited for the confirmation. We examined the bottom halves of all the main bearings. From their appearance they should last another 15,000 miles. There was only one that showed a small crack on the outer edge, none had any flaws on the bearing surface. We have received your other two telegrams. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} W.
