Dear Major Carter,

We attach herewith letter from Mr. Summers of The General Motors Corporation in reply to a letter which we sent to them asking for information on the Harmonic Balancer fitted to the Oakland and Buick cars.

If you have any further points you would like to ask Mr. Summers, we should be pleased to place them before him.

If you have a spare copy of the paper you read before the Royal Aeronautical Society on 'Torsional Vibrations' it would be a kindness if you could let us have it so that we could send it on to Mr. Summers.

Our own investigations on Crankshafts has been squeezed out by more important work, but we are looking forward to seeing you at Derby when we have something interesting to show you.

Yours faithfully,
