RE: ENCLOSED LIMOUSINE. 31.EX.

We regret that we had to inform you today that the above body will not be fibished until Thursday next.
Messrs Park Ward and Co. have been waiting for a long while for the quicktho Ventilation Window Fittings which have now been promised for Tuesday afternoon. Until these are fitted a large part of the trimming cannot be completed.
The trade are experiencing difficulty in getting these fittings generally.

I did not see the sample wing lamp before Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} took it away. I have now seen the design and agree that it is not what was intended.

As explained on the telephone Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} and I do not feel that a streamline lamp is in keeping with the rest of this rather large Town Carriage, and we suggest that we make up a suitable base for our standard Lucas Lamp,RD.370.S. having a base to enable the face of the lamp to be in line with the face of the radiator, see sketch below. We have a pair in hand.

The Streamline Lamps which you have in hand will be usefull on the Continental Saloon, 32.EX.
Although I have called on every foreign lamp vendor I can find I have seen nothing of the lamps mentioned by HN.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} as seen in Paris. I saw nothing better than the Ford Type Lamp by Lucas which we had on the mock-up when you saw it on Thursday last.

Messrs Park Ward & Co. are at work on the full size drawing of the sedanca but it has not yet reached a stage sufficiently advanced for criticism. If they could have a print of my drawing it would help.

[Handwritten note]
Will wire you definitely the body will be ready to collect as soon as the Window Fittings come in
