Cox - Advertising Manager} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.5.7.37. OVER-HEATING COMPLAINTS - P.III. We have now a Cambridge Thermometer, the scale of which is graduated so that the 100°C mark is replaced by a red line at 105°C. We are not altogether satisfied with the way the scale has been modified, but from a complaint point of view it is very much better than what we are at present fitting. We are, therefore, instructing By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to order up thermometers so graduated, at the same time submitting the modified dials to Sales for their approval.
