Cox - Advertising Manager}14/KW.8.5.35 we have been in touch with Mr.Neill of Messrs.Lucas, and the following are the replies to your queries :- (a) It will be better for all lamps to be modified at Birmingham as special tools are required to carry out the modifications. (b) The time to modify a pair of lamps is estimated at two days upon receipt at Birmingham. (c) Regarding spare lamps Messrs.Lucas agree that they have been behind in deliveries but they now state that they are rapidly catching up and hope in the next few days to satisfy all our requirements.
