1381 AGENDA FOR CHASSIS CONFERENCE 14th. JUNE, 1938. NOTES. PHANTOM III. Oil Cooler. It has been agreed to delete the Oil Cooler from chassis fitted with A.C.6. Big End Bearings, i.e. "D" Series chassis with the exception of the 1st. one, instead of the 86 chassis in "D" Series as recorded in the Minutes of the last Conference. Battery Charging. 48 Watt. Bulbs are available and supplies have been sent to N. and Sr. for changing where necessary. All new lamps have 48 watt bulbs fitted. Cost Reductions. A certain amount of progress has been made during discussions, but further information is necessary before recommendation can be submitted. 7.50 Tyres. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}8.6.38 represents considered views. Future Policy. As referred to in BY.19/G.10.6.38., and proposed for "E" Series.
