Distributor and Ignition Coil.
A conference was called to consider the question of the RR. or Delco Distributor and Ignition Coil, and it was disclosed that there had been 4 instances of failure with the RR. parts against 1 of Delco, although the RR. parts had run considerably less mileage.
It was agreed on this evidence that the RR. parts were not sufficiently developed to justify inclusion at this stage, and Delco parts have been instructed for the 1st. 100 cars.

Engine Vibration.
Results obtained by using the Torsional Movement Indicator, for recording Crankshaft movement, show the Wraith and Bentley engines to appear identical, i.e. roughness commences at the same speed.
It is appreciated further development is required, as the Bentley did not cause Distributor trouble, as on Wraith.
We are fitting a flexible drive on RR. and Delco distributors which has overcome breakage.

Propeller Shaft. (Roughness).
This has been cured by bringing the inclination of the rear joint as fixed by the Pinion Shaft, more nearly parallel with the 3rd. Motion Shaft.
This is achieved by turning the Axle so that the pinion shaft inclines downward a further 2°.
