Before receiving your memo we had already taken up with Messrs British Insulated Cables Co., Helsby, the question of the poor quality of cable they are now sending through to us, as compared with the quality on which we standardised. Their representatives visited us about a fortnight ago and took away with them samples of faulty cable, and we have since received from them three samples of new cable which we are now testing out. We hope to be in a position to say something further about this cable in the next few days. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/WAP. | ||
