Re Petrol Consumption.
---------------------

Car 58NA{Mr Nadin} has been very extravagant with petrol.
Previous to it going to the Works for the starter to be fitted, I lowered the level in the jets. We have since again lowered this with a marked economy in consumption. The roads here being very rough and with considerable camber, the vibration apparently causes the carburetter to flood when running at rather slow speeds. Your reports of bad consumption may be influenced in the same manner, will you watch if anything can be done to adopt a lower level.

R.{Sir Henry Royce}
